| [atrb=width,240] the handsome gentleman up there is jude alexander monroe, legally known as michael alexander monroe. he's a freshman pledge at omega chi epsilon. he lived most of his life in silver lake, los angeles, only moving to san francisco for university. michael was always a quiet boy, something that concerned his parents greatly. he never spoke unless spoken to, and even then, it was rare that you would get something more than a nod or a shake of his head from the boy. when he was a child, michael's mother vanished into thin air while they were shopping at the local grocery store, an event that prompted him to insist that people call him jude, after his mother's favourite beatles song. he now responds to nothing else, and gets visibly upset if he's called michael. jude loves to play the violin, a gift he received one christmas from his mother. he does not however want to be a musician, and instead has picked creative writing as his major. jude smokes quite frequently, and rarely drinks. he won't touch drugs, not because he has anything against them, but because he doesn't like the idea of not being able to control his own mind. friends jude is, for the most part a very kind boy with a gentle nature. because he never really like speaking as a child, and didn't actually actively talk to people until he was about twelve, he loves to listen to people. you can tell him nearly anything, and he won't interrupt or want to change the subject to himself. he's very unselfish, and he'll drop what he's doing to listen to you. jude is also a very positive person, so people can't help to want to be near him. he probably won't have many close friends, because he has a few quirks that often become more irritating than endearing, but most would probably consider him a friend. enemies though jude has a warm and positive nature, he can often be quite volatile, which would probably have pissed some people off. he has a tendency to throw things rather than yell, and has been known to throw a punch or two during these fits. doctors aren't really sure why he has these tantrums, mostly because he won't talk to them, but also because nothing really appears to trigger them, they only appear at random. his fits are childish in nature, and most people who encounter them probably wouldn't be able to handle them. jude also speaks his mind when he considers it appropriate, so it's possible he's offended a few people that way. lovers jude is...complicated when it comes to relationships and lovers. for starters, he's gay, but he can't admit it to himself or out loud. this is probably due to the fact that he's never actually even been with a man. he might have a few people interested in him, and he might occasionally flirt a little, but he probably wouldn't be aware that he was doing it. jude, despite never having been in a real relationship, is a romantic at heart. he can't see the bad in anyone, and doesn't want to. he occasionally wishes that he had someone to write really long letters to, and often has his head in the clouds, day-dreaming. i would like jude to have someone final eventually, and along the way to this final relationship, he will have to experiment with boys and girls alike. he'll have crushes, flings, one nighters, and possibly just one quick kiss on the lips with someone. other if you want to discuss anything, we can do so through pm'ing or im. i'm also up for quick ic plot developments, but i usually like them to lead to a longer role play. i'm pretty happy with any plotting | [atrb=width,140] friends , friends go here enemies , enemies go here lovers , lovers go here |
