cooper is a very happy-go-lucky, sweet sort of girl. she didn't come from much money but she's never been bitter about it. cooper sees the good side in everything and everyone, and that quality of hers is probably one of the things that made her the president of zeta tau delta. the only thing is that she and villenieuve seem to know one another somehow, some way, and it's adding a lot more tension between the two groups than has ever existed. what could possibly have gone on between them to make things so tense?

kings has been pushed around, beat down and stomped on her whole life. she grew up as the middle child of way too many kids and nobody ever had time for her. well now she's going off and doing her own thing. she left her home town without a dollar in her pocket and now look where she is; a big fancy university making a name for herself. she's an extremely proud woman and she knows exactly where she's going and what she's doing. she feels very strongly about some things and can be extremely stubborn, but she cares deeper than many.

emmerson is a sweet girl, but she's obviously a little hung up on herself. a lot of the things she says and does revolve around her, even if she doesn't realize it at the time. point it out to her and she'll apologize profusely but to focus on her own needs and desires just comes as a natural instinct for her. beauty is very important to her and her funds all seem to be split up between charities, cosmetics and fashion.

Lucas has never gone anywhere without bloom. they've been together since their first year of high school and they've been inseparable all that time. until now that is. now he seems to be drifting away and lucas can't remember what it's like to rely on herself for things, to have to get by on her own. she's got her suspicions about why he's drifting, but she's also learning how nice it is to have female friends again. how nice it is to have sleepovers with them, to change in public, to... watch them in the showers? okay, maybe things aren't as cut-and-dry as she thought.

villeneuve is possibly one of the wealthiest people attending lcu. her extremely wealthy parents both passed away in a freak accident, leaving her several million dollars in their wills, though at the moment her aunt is looking after those funds until she successfully graduates university. that doesn't mean villeneuve doesn't live a life of luxury though, being the president of her sorority and a millionaire to boot. she'll never bring up issues to a person's face, she'll just have some lackeys of hers do it for her. she never travels anywhere without her cohorts bonnici and colleypriest. there seems to be some very bad blood between her and cooper but nobody can figure out what exactly went on between them. could it have something to do with their mutual childhood chum marx and his relationship with villeneuve?

the platform of alpha beta phi is supposed to be class, but bonnici has very little of that. the only things she had that got her in to the sorority are rich parents, top grades and the ability to verbally destroy any theta or zeta that crossed her path. she's known as a lapdog to villeneuve but considering she's the one that does all the dirty work(and therefore the one that knows all of the president's dirty secrets) she holds all of the power in her hands. and she knows it. she's a wicked woman with a lot up her sleeve and when the time comes, she'll have a vicious amount of ammunition.

FIRST MIDDLE COLLEYPRIEST‚

colleypriest has never been able to hold down a job, a girlfriend or even a best friend. everything has to keep changing because she loves herself more than she could ever love any job or friend or material possession. or at least, she did until she met villeneuve. now she's just another of the president's lackeys but she does it out of pure sexual drive than anything. she wants in villeuneve's pants but the only way she can think to get that is to lull her into a false sense of security. or drug her. colleypriest also has some idea of what's going on with bonnici and her evil schemes, and while alpha beta phi is supposed to be all about class, colleypriest isn't about to let bonnici take down the current object of her fancy.

FIRST MIDDLE GRAHAM‚

graham does not belong with these girls. she should have gotten into zeta tau delta but the girls found her to be too much of a threat due to the fact that she's an alpha legacy, so that's where she wound up. she's unhappy here and she'd much rather not be a part of the rather odd, messed-up triangle that is the relationship between villeneuve, bonnici and colleypriest. graham is one of the few alphas that truly is classy, but she just feels so awful about the people she's involved with and what she had to do to get there, it could be a while before she breaks out of her shell. not to mention now she has toor and bailey vying for her attention. she has her pick of the two at the moment but if she doesn't pick soon, it looks like bailey is starting to lean a bit more to the other side of the fence. more in toor's direction.

smithe is a very curious girl and she doesn't care who knows it. she dances in the rain, wears plastic dinosaurs in her hair and thinks they're acceptable fashion accessories. she and maclean are obviously best friends because more often than not their outfits match. unlike many presidents of the theta xi mu, smithe is more of a hardcore stoner than a determined activist. she's more interested in sitting around taking hits off a bong with her girlfriends than fighting for rights, but she'll go out and do it at maclean's recommendation. it could be because they're best friends, but if smithe said she didn't feel a little something more she might be lying.

nothing can get maclean down. she can see the bright side of absolutely everything but just in case she can't, she often dresses very loudly and does everything with a flourish. she's a bouncy, excitable, happy young woman and she just can't hide it. she absolutely loves being with theta xi mu because she wants to see a change in the world and she wants to help. the only thing is getting smithe off her ass and helping rally the troops to get stuff done. it isn't as easy as it looks. not to mention her little courtship with stanley is taking up a good deal of her time. is it worth giving up on what she believes in for the chance for true love? or would her beau join in the fight for peace with her?

cameron has no reason to be as angry as she was, and she knows this. it's probably why she wound up just numbing herself to everything. being angry was an emotion she knew she had no right to feel so now she just feels nothing. she takes pleasure in fighting and more importantly, in winning. she doesn't necessarily care about the causes they fight for but she sure as hell loves to yell, to wave signs and to shove cops around. she and eyford seem to be quite close, though they're both extremely different. they lean on each other for a lot of things and while cameron doesn't believe in such romanticized shit, it could very well be the start of a lifelong friendship.

eyford is so unpredictable it hurts. some days she's really up and bouncy and other days she'll just sit and glare and mutter curses. the only person she can handle both in her upswings and her downswings is cameron and it's probably because she feels so much emotion all the time and cameron doesn't seem to feel any, ever. together they almost make a normal human being. eyford isn't quite sure what she's doing with her life but she'd really like to study the brain and figure out why she is the way she is and if there's some way to pretend that she's normal. to lead a life that isn't stunted.

marx is a very smart man. he comes from money but not pointless, dumb luck money. his father is also a very smart man and he worked for every dime he earned, teaching his son to do the same. the only thing is that marx is smarter than his father and he knows full well that his current girlfriend villeneuve will be coming into a lot of money when she graduates. growing up, he always knew cooper was the better pick even before they dated for two years but he's a smart man and being a doctor isn't exactly cheap living for a long time. will he be able to use villeneuve until he doesn't need her any more and then go back to cooper? or will he end up genuinely falling for villeneuve?

bloom has known for a long time that his girlfriend lucas might not exactly be on his side of the tracks, but with his head so far in the clouds he can't really bring himself to worry too much about it. ever since his dad first told him he was going to become a lawyer like his old man, damnit, and he his schooling wasn't going to be paid for otherwise, well, bloom hasn't exactly been all there. he's taking his courses, hanging out with friends and living a normal life but his mind is somewhere else. his mind is somewhere far away where he can be free and live his own life and do what he always wanted to do; sing.

stanley loves Jesus. he's been going to church ever since he was baby too young to know about the bible and God, but now he does know very well. he's studying to be a pastor, taking every religious course out there. he's a charismatic man who loves people more than anything and really wants to help them all as best he can. among those he loves is maclean, who captured his heart the moment they met. she's different and fun and she's just what he needs in his life. but while she's out marching in the streets and fighting for what she thinks is right, he's reading books about what he knows is right. he loves her, but if she can't come around to his side and learn to worship God with him then their relationship just can't work.

whitehall is a third cousin to eyford and it's pretty obvious instability runs in the family. not that he's mentally unstable, he's just a little bit off. He's obviously not a perfect gentleman to any capacity, but his father was and he's the only reason whitehall is even in omega chi epsilon. if it were his choice he'd be with the kappas, and most nights he is. the other omegas aren't incredibly pleased with it but there isn't a heck of a lot they can do about it, is there? still, whitehall can play good boy if he has to. he can pretend to be sweet and charming and innocent but you can bet your sweet ass he always has some ulterior motive. he's not a man to be trusted.

bailey loves sports. they're his life. he's tried every sport at least once and has excelled at almost all of them. he's loved sports his entire life but now that his family is realizing he's good, they're pushing him. they're stressing him out, telling him he needs to get famous, to go big, to be a champion. the fact that he got in on scholarships was really great, but all he ever wanted was to play sports. not to win, but because he liked it. now he's got no choice and parents always have the last word. who is he to argue? he's in the midst of attempting to court graham, but toor keeps getting in his way and to be honest... he kind of likes it.

unlike bailey, pedersen is only here to win. sports are great and all but he's here to go big. he wants to see his face on tv, on cards, to hear his name being screamed in the stands, on the street, to see it written on poster paper and waved in his direction. pedersen just wants the fame and glory that comes with being a successful athlete and goddamnit, he's going to get it at any cost whatsoerver.

grimes is an absolutely wonderful soccer player. he has the legs of a kangaroo and the stamina of one too but he's the most temperamental brother lambda chi rho has ever had. everything has to be perfect, exactly how he wants it, or he'll throw a fit. he needs fiji water after practice, thank you, not tap water. tap water is for losers. and hello, can someone please pick up his shorts from the dry cleaners? they sure as hell won't pick themselves up.

walters and basketball are like peanut butter and jelly, sonny and cher, woodstock and marijuana. he's wonderful at what he does and nobody would ever tell him different. the thing is he's a tiny bit slow. he's not an idiot but, well, let's just say it's a good thing he's not at litton-colwell for academic courses. sadly enough, he knows he's not very bright. people have told him his whole life and now all he has is basketball and parties. but with a best friend like emmerson encouraging him and pushing him along, he's starting to feel a bit more confident in himself again.

shea loves older women and almost more than older women, he loves booze. he's been lying about his age for two years and so far it seems like nobody's noticed that he's way above the fraternity age cap. he and the president of kappa iota gamma evans are obviously fabulous pals and spend a lot of their time drinking together. he's straight as a pin and doesn't count anything that happens between himself and evans when they're both drunk and behind closed doors as a game changer. they both know he loves women, especially the mothers. they're vulnerable, they're desperate and he is drunk. most would call him a deadbeat or a loser but he calls himself a winner.

NOAH BENNETT GOLDSTEIN‚

goldstein thought he was much smarter than he is but so far he's failing his classes and the women whose panties he's tried so hard to get into(lucas, cooper, graham, maclean, cameron, bonnici-- the list goes on) have all turned him down. this makes him angry, and nobody likes him when he's angry. to make up for not being as smart as he thought, goldstein uses his fists. a lot. most of the time he turns his fists onto evans and shea when he's angry. shea seems to be able to calm him down -- evans just fights back.

toor is a genius. he's a certified mensa member and he could think circles around anyone at litton-colwell without a doubt. the thing is he's also very odd. he isn't awkward in the traditional sense; he's actually quite confident in himself and not at all nervous or worried. he knows he's smart, he knows he's got reason to be confident and he knows he likes who he is. unfortunately not everyone sees those things to be good and now he's stuck with the misfits in kappa iota gamma. still, he won't let that bring him down. his grades are as high as they could possibly be and he's got his sights on graham. still, if she turns him down he won't feel bad. there are three billion more metaphorical fish in the sea.

mitchell's had a bit of a rough time of things his whole life. going to university was supposed to help him straighten his life out and get back on his feet but instead he just feels more alone and angry than ever. everyone else seems to know who they are but he has no idea. he just feels like another someone in a sea of people but he sees himself as a nobody. a nobody amongst somebodies. so far his only real friend is toor, the oddball genius. as you can see he's doing really well for himself.
