This here is Avery Maddox, but everyone seems to make her plural and just calls her Aves. She's a Southern girl hailing from small town Sweetwater, Texas where football is king and it's rude not to have some fresh sweet tea in the fridge should company spontaneously arrive. She's a total perfectionist, and the stress case that comes along with it. She's over involved and over committed, but she's at her best when she's a busy little bee. She's a good girl. She's only really had one drink in her life. Ever. And one serious boyfriend unless you count that time in 9th grade where she dated a girl for awhile. However, with how easily influenced she is and how depraved college kids are known to be, odds are she won't be staying that way for long!
friends Avery will definitely be needing these. She's a new baby fresh out of high school from far away, girl needs some friends! She's pretty easy to get along with. She'd do anything for her friends and is very supportive. She needs friends who can be a corrupting influence on her, friends who take advantage of her, friends to just chill with, and if someone wants to be her Zeta big sis, go for it! And she could use a roommate!
enemies Avery is pretty damn judgmental and nine times out of ten she'll let on that she doesn't like someone, for whatever reason. She's also a bit of a gossip. So bring on the dislike. Maybe she flirted with your boyfriend, maybe she told your secret, maybe she told you off, if you have a reason to dislike her, go for it.
lovers Avery flirts. A lot. Most of the time without really realizing it. She's kind of a tease, at least at first, but any charming guy worth his salt shouldn't have too much trouble getting into her pants once he's gotten to know her a little. She's very naive. Boyfriends are all well and good on that note too, especially if they're the jealous type, because that's fun! And on the note of girls...get her drunk enough and she'll make out with anything...and then feel terrible about it the next day. Could be fun.

Avery and Ambrielle are in the same pledge class for Zeta, so they would most likely spend time together. Ambrielle is pretty easy to get along with, and will do almost anything for her friends. She wants to be a pediatrician, so they have a common ground there, with avery wanting to be a teacher. xP

Yes! They would definitely spend oodles of time together! I think they would get along most of the time, for sure, but when you spend so much time with any one person, sometimes they get on your nerves from time to time. Is Elle neat? Because Avery is a neat freak and if she's feeling stressed out she's known to freak out about stupid little things from time to time. They'd be good enough friends to get over any stupid petty things, I think, but I also think they might "fight" from time to time.

Elle is neat, but she's also really busy, so she is likely to sometimes leave things lying around. I can definitely see them having spats. xP Can Avery keep a secret? Because I can see Elle wanting to confide in her. It could probably get interesting. xP

ooooo'tay. so i have two routes we can go for these two. avery and gwenn are scary alike, judgmental, flirtatious and southern bells. so here is what i'm thinking: option 1. gwenn adores avery because she is happy that someone so similar to her is joining the zetas. she had a hard time adjusting to the culture of california so a southern bell would do her good and be a big sigh of relief. i even imagine the two's accents starting to come out even more then usual when they talk with each other, throwing everyone else off, which they would love even more cause it would show they had a special kind of connection. ORRR option 2. gwenn can't stand avery, she has always been known as the flirty southern girl and I could see her being kind of pissed that the attention could possibly be taken from her and put on avery. it would be even harder for her because technically she would have to be somewhat civil to avery as they are to be sisters soon. OORR option 3. we try and combine the two!

Avery can't keep a secret if her life depends on it! Unless it's something she couldn't possibly gossip about (like sorority secrets, for instance). But in general, no, secrets are not something she does well. At all. She can try reallllllly hard, but in the very least, she'll tell her Mom.

I vote combination of the two! Best of both worlds! Avery is so happy to have someone else to talk to with a Southern drawl because it makes her feel at home. I also think she'd confide in Gwenn when it gets to be too much being so far away and she's homesick. I also think Avery would be a touch intimidated by Gwenn since she's so strong and sure of herself, and Avery's just this little freshman. As for conflict, I think they would get jealous of each other from time to time. Like maybe Avery's talking up some guy and flirting with him and Gwenn comes over and ends up in control of the conversation, or vice versa. Little things like that. Things that make them jealous of each other, and be fake nice to each other for awhile, but that they get over pretty quickly. Also, when Aves gets stressed she tends to snap at people, so there's an outlet for any source of tension. Add, edit, delete as you please!

i love that idea! they would just be very competitive with one another, and i could see avery snapping at gwenn and then her just laying into avery which could start a screaming match between the two of them. but i could also see the relationship they have helping avery come into her own and teaching gwenn to chill out a bit.

Emmy will have taken a liking to Avery from day one, and is rooting for her to finish pledging and become a sister in Zeta house <3 I see them becoming good friends, Avery will spark Emmy's flirtatious side which is normally pretty much asleep. I see Avery taking her out to talk to the male population after her rough break up.
A little side plot (which we discussed): Aves and Emmy both wind up quite drunk at frat party, which is abnormal for both of them. The mixture of a broken heart and too much booze, sparks a steamy make out session between the two. Which they both wind up regretting and puts an awkward fog around their friendship for a little while, but they'll eventually be able to laugh about it and get back to normal.
