Ian Connor Shea is one of the laziest people you will ever meet. He seems to drift through life, allowing things to happen and just going with the flow rather than going after any big dream or goal. He spends his days at the fraternity house, drinking and making up games, attending the occasional class in an attempt to get a hot professor in the sack. He has no major to speak of and takes whatever classes strike his fancy when it comes time to register. He enjoys the finer things in life, and would have a massive credit card debt if it weren't for his affinity to gambling. He's on multiple dating websites, including craigslist and Ashley Madison, looking for all the hot cougars he can get his hands on before it's time to graduate. Someday.
friends Ian's extremely laid back, so he gets on well with most people. However, he is very selfish and likes to poke fun at others, especially his closest friends. He knows what he has to do to make situations work for him. However, he gives great advice with unwavering honesty to the point of being blunt when asked. He'll have a drink with just about anyone, any time, any place. Also, I would love for him to have a little brother in Kappa Gamma Iota!
enemies There'd be a fair bit of these, I think. Ian can sometimes come across as a douchebag, and he has a pretty bad temper if he gets into one of his drunken/not drunk enough rages. He's also very possessive of those close to him, and he's more than willing to jump into a good barfight on their behalf. Also, the more ambitious crowd likely looks down on him for his life choices, and he really doesn't take well to that.
lovers College girls need not apply, unless it's in the past. Past flings, one night stands, and maybe a short relationship or two from his younger days. Ian is all about the older women now. Moms, professors, recent divorcees, etc. are his bread and butter. If he's drunk enough, however, he'll sleep with pretty much anything. To top it all off, he and Wynne Evans sort of end up together when they're both drunk sometimes. He's still as straight as they come though, in his own mind.

So, in my head, I don't think that Ian approves of Flo at all.
Because Flo comes across as so...idk, detached sometimes, Ian might think he's a bit serial killer-ish.
And, you know, Flo could totally be taking his best friend away D:
No more fun at parties with Wynne if he's too busy making kissy-face with Florian.

yes! the shea to my goldstein! <3 anyways, i'm pretty much just going off of the canon relationship right now. no points for originality there. but he seems to be able to calm noah down when he's angry. which is like pretty much always. but ian's one of the few who can get him to relax and not freak out and punch people. so i suppose that's a good thing. noah might look up to him and think the whole super senior cougar catching alcohol business is pretty cool. silly boy doesn't pick the best role models. but noah would probably be pretty civil to ian on a normal day, and when his temper is going and he's acting up, ian would just be like 'bro, please chill'. and that's that. yeah, i don't even know what i'm saying but i try. and i just realized i'm posting this on sydney but i'm too lazy to switch accounts. Dx

Yes, I think it's very possible that Ian doesn't approve of Florian. He probably approves of him in general, just not as Wynne's, y'know boyfriend. Having sex behind closed doors and not saying anything about it, fine. Public relationship, relationships in general...he thinks Wynne's time could be better spent drinking and cougar hunting with him. I don't see it being total animosity though. Wynne's his best friend, he wants him to be happy, but he's also very possessive of him, for that reason. I can see him tolerating being "the third wheel" to a degree, though he'll probably make jokes about it, because hey, he likes jokes and making fun of his friends. Example, every time Flo and Wynne go off somewhere alone, he'll probably shout something along the lines of, "Oh, you guys are leaving? Yeah? Gonna go NOT make babies now? I see how it is, you bunch of fucking sodomists!" with this huge grin on his face. At the same time though, he can only take so much of it, before he starts to get moody and grumpy and annoyed/maybe a twinge jealous. Add/edit/delete as you please!

Yes, Ian's calming side comes out with Noah and he gets him to chill out. He has the ability to be very blunt and rational, especially when people are being irrational, so he'll lay the logic down and diffuse the situation. There's probably the rare alcoholic rage moments when Ian choose to spur Noah on instead of trying to diffuse the situation, but those would be quite rare.

So we both know what we want to do here. Ian is a cougar catcher and Jill is a cougar.
Although she will not be particularly easy for him to catch. Sure, he could lose interest, but I like to think that Jill's always had a fair bit of his attention.
...and that he's been taking her English class for as long as he's been at LCU. Or, you know, on the MILF truck.
And maybe if she gets within his reach, that also kind of ruins things, too. Because she'd been a bit of a fantasy object.
...I also totally want Ian to find/unknowingly be in the possession of some of the girly magazines which she modeled for in her misspent youth. >D He could use that for ALL SORTS of leverage.
