It's that time of month - yes, you guessed it, spotlight time! And you lovely people get to witness the very first set of brilliant characters and couples here on Hazed & Confused. We wouldn't be here if it weren't for you! So let's get cracking so you can get voting, shall we? Here at H&C, we do our voting a little bit differently. This first round will be nominations. Only characters with an active thread are available to win and they will all be listed here with their own fancy little placard. Nominations will go until January 18th. There are eighteen characters in total for you to vote on! As of right now there is only one definite couple on the site so Jack and I will be handling couple this time around. Once the nominations period is over, we will post a new list with the contestants for the spotlight voting. We will be using the top three of each category. Everyone gets to vote on male of the month and female of the month until January 25th, at which point the voting will end and you'll learn who our snazzy winners are! They'll get a pretty little spot on the sidebar until next time. There is no form to follow, all you have to do is write who you want for male of the month, who you want for female, and give a reason for each. So we know you've thought about it! You can't vote for yourself(naturally...we will be checking, we have ways of knowing.) and we do ask that you vote anonymously. Wynne's got a distinct personality that is very well thought out. His threads always intrigue me, and make me want to read more! And face it, he's too sexy not to have on the spotlight section. :)

Sydney Addison LeRoux

Sydney is a far cry from the rest of the characters. She's ambitious and calculating. I love it. Eat it up, actually. I can see her doing really interesting things in the future. <3

Ian Connor Shea
Ian's a very fun, interesting character. He has flaws galore -- he's a smelly alcy and he likes to bonk old ladies -- and that's one of the reasons we love him! He's very real and believable and for that, he has my vote for MOTM!

Sydney Addison Leroux
She's the token brownie! Naturally she has my vote. But it's true that she's her own person and again, a very believable character. Haven't seen too much of her yet but I'm really excited to see more!

Wynne Shannon Evans

Wynne is such an amazing character, what more can I say? His personality is so well thought out and developed. Some of his lines make me laugh out loud. He has a variety of plots and threads, all of which I shamelessly creep. xD Spence does an excellent job with the Kappa president.

Female

Cecelia Ava Villeneuve

Celia is an Alpha through and through and really embodies the spirit of her sorority while still being unique and original. She's very interesting and I love her already, I think she has a lot of potential. This has all sounded very formal but two very lovely characters that I had to nomiante. <3

Rory Fergus Hewitt

it's not often that a site gets a homeless character who is played as a normal human being. usually, they're so down on themselves, and it's just one big pity party whenever they make an appearance. that's why rory is such an excellent candidate for male of the month. you wouldn't know about his situation unless he decided to tell you about it, or if he got particularly stinky. he's original and i think sites need that. plus, um, he's scottish, yum.

FEMALE

Sophia Elise Cooper

people really seem to like playing assholes, so it's such a nice change to see a genuinely kind character. sophia's sweet as molasses and it's not the fake kind of sweet you so often get from girls. she's the ideal president because she's kind, helpful, compassionate, and sees the good in everyone. even though she's drop dead gorgeous, sophia doesn't use her looks to get ahead, rather she's put a lot of work into getting to where she is, which is definitely an admirable trait.
