Aurora “Rory” Mackensie Grosvenor is one crazy girl. She is one old soul at only 19 years of age. Born on the Eve of November 15, 1992 puts Rory solidly under the Scorpio sign. She works part-time as the local high school shop teacher assistant.
Rory is one exotic spitfire. Her last name is one of privilege but she was raised by her mother who ran away with her was Rory was five. Amelia, Rory’s mother, is a woman of mystery which is why Mr. Robert Christopher Grosvenor III, Rory’s father, was so attracted to her. Rory was a spoiled child from birth to the time that she and Amelia left. After though, Rory learned to get her hands dirty and appreciate work. Amelia was an artist by trade but Rory didn’t have any passion for art in the traditional sense. Rory found her love for machinery after their 1986 Camaro IROC-Z broke down somewhere outside of nowhere Tennessee. The mechanic working on the car let her sit on the work bench and watch. After that Rory tried to weasel her way into every mechanic shop or work shop possible. When Amelia finally decided to settle down in San Francisco, Rory had been “home schooled” for quite a while and according to the school administration said she was a grade behind but because of who she was they would accept her in. So off she went to school, finding her only comfort in shop and math classes. Her shop teacher suggested mechanical engineering and Litton-Colwell university. To go to college both her and her mother knew that contacting Robert was necessary. Rory’s father was thrilled to hear for them for he had never gotten over Amelia or Aurora. The only deal he made was that Aurora become part of a prestigious sorority and become a lady of society. So here she is trying her best to fit in and become a Zeta Tau Delta member. The grease monkey turned sorority girl. She just might be willing to become the prim and proper lady to achieve her dreams.
Rory is an exotic beauty with long black hair with piercing eyes. She has no tattoos or unusual piercing but she exudes wild child so there is no need for any of those. Torn and cut-off tank tops, jeans, and shorts are her style but since she is trying her best to be more “lady-like” she has started to like the more sophisticated look of longer skirts and less ragtag versions of her old staples.

Rory is one hell of a problem solver. She was the one that always solved every problem that was placed in front of her. Determination is Rory’s middle name. Put a task in front of her and she will get ‘er done.

Being a grease monkey and engineer at heart, Rory has always been at home with the boys. The only womanly influence was her mother, and her being a wild spirit she never encouraged Rory to be anything that didn’t feel “natural.” Now that Rory is trying to be a sophisticated lady her “one of the boys” mentality is causing a slight issue with the girls.

Rory has a very positive spirit. She knows her limits but she is always willing to push them for the greater good. With a love of a good outcome, Rory strives for the best of everything she can.

Raised by a free spirit, Rory has never been one for things not getting done. She is a determinate and usually nice individual but get on her bad side, and she one spiteful being. She also doesn’t like things not going her way so who know what kind of enemies she may have or create.

Mechanically minded, Rory can create almost anything given the right tools. She loves to tinker with things and better them. Creating and engineering is what she does best.

With all of her mind going towards other things, Rory acts likes she doesn’t like being around people. To the contrary, Rory loves people she just doesn’t know how to act around others, especially when it comes to the girls of Litton-Colwell.
hey, so i'm Skya. i've been roleplaying for three years now. as well as this character, i also play none at the moment. you can reach me by pm is fine if you need me for anything. i found HAZED AND CONFUSED by / on / from the old site and i'm pretty glad i did. here's an example of mah skillz. (:As she put the final touches to her outfit, she added a lovely holy hair clip to complete her look. No funky Santa hat this time. As looked in the mirror, her reflection smiled at her, and she decide she was now ready for the party. She was so glad that she decided to host this party. It had been way to long since the last good one. As she looked around her place she couldn’t help but be proud of how sensational it looked. The party had come together so quickly, she almost forgotten to put on some extra coverage. She added a couple more bracelets just for good measure. Of well. She stood in the living room trying to figure out if she forgot anything else. Satisfied with her work she put a private sign on her bedroom door just in case. Hey she might need her room later on tonight, who knows? Then, she settled down with a lovely pre-party martini.
A couple of minutes later, people started pouring in. The music stated pumping and alcohol was being poured like water on a fire. She definitely didn't anticipate this many but party hearty it works for her. As she greeted some of her guests, she looked for a couple of key people. Mostly Levi and Bry and the rest of the kindergarten crew. After a while she decided that it was time to dance a bit and have some fun. She had just finished dancing with an extremely handsy guy when she decided to scan the crowd.
As she did she saw Adi entering her place. Greeting her with a nice hug. Kay was excited to have at least one person around that she knew really well. As Adi comment on her awesome party planning skills and beautiful looks the only response Kay could give her was "Why thank you, it is of course my specialty!" As she was feeling a bit outrageously cocky she added Not to be to prideful or anything not that, that was true but she thought she would add it so she didn't appear too bad. Then realizing that she was being a horrible host to Adi she offered her a drink "What's your poison, Adi?" This all while dragging Adi to the counter. She was hoping Adi was going to say something she knew how to make. In reality, there wasn't really much she didn't know how to make, but as always that weird modesty thing was kicking in.
She was really hoping that some of the boys were going to show soon. Both Levi and Bry had said yep to the whole situation so maybe they would show soon. If not Kay had seen a couple of really fine lookin men come in earlier. Then she thought maybe that wasn’t a good idea, but the alcohol was doing its job and that thought left her mind just about as fast as it had entered.
