Cameron Louis Richards is twenty one years old and a junior at Litton-Colwell University. His birthday is March 31st and he recently turned twenty one. Being born into a rich family he doesn't currently have a job. Cam is a regular at all of the bars around campus and doesn't care much about his academics.
Cam stands at six feet and one inch tall with a muscular yet slender build. He as two tattoos, one on his right arm of a tribal tattoo and another on his hip that says godspeed. He isn't one for dressing up and usually can be seen in jeans and a t-shirt or a hoodie. When he is forced to dress up the best he will usually wear consists of nicer jeans and a vest, though his parents sometimes made him wear suits so he does own a few.
Cam is the typical rich kid, he tends to act like an asshole at times. Though he is actually very intelligent, he doesn't make much of an effort at his academics. Around his friends he makes a lot of jokes and many of them are at the expense of others. He feels entitled to a lot of things, as a result of his family's status and income. Cameron has also been known to disrespect many of his superiors and authority figures, especially his father. Also because of his father, he tends not to be faithful to most of his girlfriends. Growing up with a father whom had many affairs, it is all he knows.
Ever since Cam was eleven years old, he caught on to the fact that his father wasn't faithful to his mother. Trying to be the big tough man he confronted his father several times, usually ending in being repermanded, or worse. This forced him to grow a hard exterior which some people see, as him simply being an asshole. After years of being completely cut off from his father other than recieving money from him, he just grew into the kind of person that seemed to have given up and given in to no longer caring.
His father is also the reason that Cam doesn't feel it is possible to be faithful to his own girlfriends. Since he was a child and learned of his parents problems, he felt as though if his own parents couldn't make it work, how could he? Basically, it is all he knows and doesn't see that it's too important to remain faithful.
Humor: There is a lighter side to Cam, one that enjoys joking around with his friends. Sometimes they are light hearted and just fun and sometimes, they can be at the expense of others. He makes jokes at other's expense to put up the act of not caring what anyone thinks. Though this isn't one hundred percent true, it isn't that far off.
Indifferent: This is a side of him that his parents and girls see most often. He is almost always indifferent and acts as if he doesn't care about much, though deep down he does..a little.
Egotistical: Quite honestly, Cam comes off as if he thinks he is god's gift to earth. Deep down he actually has self-esteem issues though, especially when speaking of his intelligence. When looks are concerned, his head is bigger than his car. On the other hand, he doesn't feel like he is very intelligent. This however is only because he doesn't apply himself much in school.
Family:
- Melissa Leigh Richards, 49, home-maker/socialite
- Harrison Keith Richards, 51, stock broker at a large firm in New York
At 6:17 A.M. March 31st, 1990 a baby cried out in a large hospital in the upper east side of New York. It was a baby boy named Cameron, born to Melissa and Harrison Richards. Harrison and Melissa were almost in their thirties when Cameron was finally born as Harrison didn’t want children. His mother claimed he was an accident to his father, though Cameron never grew to knew this. Harrison was a very successful businessman and stock broker in a large firm in New York while Melissa, was simply a home-maker. She had never truly aspired to be anything else and had no college as well as no viable work skills. During his young childhood, she stayed home with Cam and raised him. Harrison was almost never home, working ten to twelve hours at the office and usually going out for drinks afterwards. Harrison wasn’t faithful to his wife and she knew this, though she pretended as if she didn’t. Overall though, Cameron had a better childhood than most.
Starting when he was only four years old, his mother began enrolling him in little league soccer. He played the position of left forward and as he was naturally athletic, he was a pretty good player. During his years in pre-school and kindergarten, he showed signs of being intelligent and a very quick learner. He continued to play soccer and football all through high school, and even played hockey his last two years.
During his high school years, his grades began to slip as he became more of a socialite. On the weekends when he wasn’t at practice or in a game, he could usually be found at a party with his friends. In his junior year he met a girl named Dorothy Emmerson, who went by the name of Emmy. She was a year younger than him and they had a gym class together. Immediately, he was taken by her beauty and became smitten with her. They were high school sweethearts and stayed together until his first year of college.
Once Cam was accepted to Litton-Colwell University, Emmy and himself decided to stay together while she attended, as she planned to follow him to the University a year later. While he was away however, he wasn’t exactly faithful. Though she never found out he actually slept with someone, she did find out about him kissing another girl at a party. It had been harmless and even though he wasn’t great at showing it, Cam did care about Emmy. When she found out they fought and ended up breaking up, though she still came to the University. This is her first year at the University and Cam’s third year, and they still haven’t run into each other. He doesn’t want to face her after what happened and plans to avoid her if possible.
His grades throughout his first years haven’t been great in school. His partying and social attitude has pretty much killed his effort in school, though he knows that he must obtain a degree. Also, he has never had a job other than working at his father’s company. To this day, his father still deposits money in his back account. This is about the only relationship that he has with his father, due to their broken past. Throughout Cam's adolescene, he became aware of his father's affairs. This caused multiple confrontations between the two of them, the last one when Cam was only fifteen. The confrontation got physical and his father "accidently" broke one of his ribs, he has had a certain hatred for his father ever since.
Right now, he is pledging to get into a fraternity, as his parents believe it will be good for his image. His mother told him that he needs to maintain a good GPA to get into the fraternity, but she didn't believe he would. Therefore his father has donated an all new kitchen to the house, as well as offered to pay for the repairs the house needs for the rest of Cam's time in college as an incentive. Cam simply feels it will make for better parties, so he is going along with it for now.
hey, so i'm kasey. i've been roleplaying for around five years now now. as well as this character, i don't play any other characters. you can reach me by pm is fine if you need me for anything. i found HAZED AND CONFUSED by an ad on some site i can't remember. and i'm pretty glad i did. here's an example of mah skillz. (:Sunnydale had seemed promising from what he'd heard but Lucas hadn't yet made any deals. The people here did seem quite on edge all the time which usually made for good deals, but he hadn't met many yet. He could simply feel the vibes flowing from people when they passed him by. Some of them were sad, many anger, and a lot were also confused. About what he wasn't sure, unless maybe they suspected something about the Supernatural world? Honestly he had no clue and also didn't really care to find out. He was here for one thing and one thing only; souls.
After all what was a crossroads demon if they didn't acquire souls? Most likely than not, that crossroads demon wouldn't survive all that long. Since acquiring souls was their main purpose in the world, failing to do so usually meant they wouldn't have that place in the world anymore...IE, they were killed. Or they were maimed and tortured, it could either way depending on who was deciding their fate. Since Lucas actually enjoyed the world and causing chaos on it, he was not about to be next on the death list.
As he entered the hospital, he put the hood down on his grey hoodie. He was wearing the hoodie with a pair of dark jeans and sneakers, attempting to look like the average human here visiting a relative. If someone asked him what he wanted, he'd quickly come up with a story of some relative that'd just had surgery or something. Usually they never asked as with his face and blue eyes, he looked sweet and innocent.
Walking through the automatic doors, he took an elevator to the second floor which brought him out by the ICU unit. As he did he noticed a scantily clad volunteer dressed in a candy stripe outfit announcing herself to the sick people in beds. For some reason the outfit seemed familiar and just as he'd thought about dismissing the resemblance, he realized why it seemed so familiar.
Seraphina? Here, in Sunnydale? And he'd just seen Darla the other night. What the hell was it with this town? Walking up behind her he gave her a small pinch on the ass that would certainly startle her. "Miss me?" he whispered into her ear seductively.
As he waited for her to turn around, he reminisced on the times they'd had together. Since they both went after people of the same breed naturally they'd always been competitive. Their competitiveness had usually ended up with them in bed together once before they both left town. Occasionally they would come across each other and repeat the process.
