Chloe Olivia Sawyer was born in the Diamond Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. She is currently twenty-six years old and was born on August 3rd. She currently lives in a small apartment in the Marina district of San Francisco. She is a graduate student studying at LCU, and she is a teaching assistant for several business related classes. She occasionally teaches pole dancing fitness classes at the local gym.
Chloe is kind of a nerd when it comes to style. She doesn’t wear a lot of make up or go out of her way to make sure she looks nice. She always looks presentable, but her go to outfit is a plaid shirt, jeans, and a pair of boots or sneakers. Since she spends a lot of her time at the dance studio, she can sometimes be found sporting leggings and other clothing that is easy to move around in. Outside of dance however, she’s not a fan of showing off her body and is pretty shy about her appearance in general. She has a very distinct laugh whenever something is awkward or makes her uncomfortable. She has no tattoos or piercings, not even her ears.
PERSONALITY
OUTGOING Chloe will start up a conversation with just about anyone. She hates silence, so if it’s quiet she will find the nearest person and start talking to them. It merits her a lot of strange looks, as her attempts to make things not as awkward don’t often go over well. She doesn’t let it get to her though. She also has quite a loud voice, and has to be told to quiet down by her friends when out in public because of the somewhat inappropriate things that come out of her mouth from time to time.
CURIOUS If someone is doing something out of the ordinary, Chloe will ask outright why he or she is doing something. She asks a lot of questions, and makes some true, but unintentionally inappropriate observations about life and people. She likes seeing how things work and will take things apart and then attempt to put them back together again, with varying degrees of success.
AWKWARD Chloe is blunt and honest, with a side of humor. This tends to make her a little socially awkward. She’s extremely open and will tell someone anything they ask of her. She has very little shame, and doesn’t mind others knowing what is going on in her life, no matter how embarrassing.
ENTHUSIASTIC Chloe gets overly excited about little things. She is almost always smiling, and if someone proposes an idea that she likes, she wants to start working on it immediately. She’s not patient, and delayed gratification doesn’t do much for her. She has a lot of energy, and at times the only way she can get it out of her system is in the dance studio.
ACCEPTING Having grown up in a racially diverse neighborhood and living in a sexually diverse one now, Chloe isn’t surprised by much. She accepts people’s life choices and is interested in hearing about them, finding the similarities, as well as the differences.
INDEPENDENT Chloe does her own thing. She really doesn’t like being told what to do, how to do it, etc. She could have lived at home while working on her graduate degree, but she decided to get her own apartment instead.
CREATIVE As a dancer, Chloe is very creative. She also loves walking down by the marina during the day when the musicians are out playing. She loves live music and supporting new musicians. She’s been known to accompany some of them in dance from time to time. Chloe also enjoys pole dancing for fitness, and promotes it as a legitimate form of dance instead of just something workers in the adult industry do to make money.
GEEKY Chloe loves video games. She can kick your butt in Halo, and her neighbors frequently hear her shouting on her headset at Call of Duty. She loves Nintendo as well. She’s the proud owner of a Wii and a PS3. She is a frequenter of Reddit and loves internet memes.
TOMBOY Chloe also loves sports. When the women in her family do the dishes and cook and gossip at Thanksgiving, Chloe can be found out in the yard with the guys, throwing around a football or playing dizzy bat at a summer picnic. She’s got a pretty competitive streak to her.
FAMILY
Chloe’s childhood was pretty average. She had a lot of close friends growing up, as there were so many families in her neighborhood. She was teased some at school for being different, but she never let it get to her too much. She started dancing at a young age, at her mother’s urging, to make her tomboy of a daughter a bit more feminine. Chloe loved dance, though she still maintained a tomboy streak. She auditioned for the School of the Arts in Diamond Heights, was accepted, and studied there for high school. She was offered several dance jobs after graduation, but turned them down at her mother’s urging to go to college.
Chloe decided to attend LCU because it was close to home. None of the Sawyer clan tended to stray too far from home base. Her older brother attended the San Francisco police academy right in Diamond Heights, and Chloe went off to LCU. As a freshman, she entered LCU as a mechanical engineering major, due to her love of taking things apart. However, she found she couldn’t keep up in the classes after a not so great first semester. She’d spent so much time studying, that she hadn’t really made any close friends. The spring of her freshman year, she decided to check out Greek Life at LCU.
She fell in love with the Thetas, and embraced them wholeheartedly. They were all so original and independent, and she found some great role models within the sorority. They helped her to embrace her own uniqueness. With her newfound independence, Chloe decided she did, after all, want to major in dance. Her parents wanted her to study something more stable, and decided they were not going to pay for her to go to school for dance. If she wanted to do it, she would have had to do it on her own. Not wanting to be a college drop out, Chloe decided to study business instead, knowing it would be something to fall back on.
After finishing her undergraduate degree, Chloe had gained quite a bit more confidence in herself and her abilities, and a bit more independence from her family. She moved out of Diamond Heights, to the Marina District, and took an accounting job to pay the bills on a small apartment. She saved up money to attend graduate school for what she really wanted to study, dance. Once she had saved enough, she left her accounting job and auditioned for LCU. She was offered a graduate fellowship which came with a generous stipend, as long as she agreed to be a teaching assistant for a few classes each semester. In addition to that, she also teaches a few pole dancing classes at a local gym. Much of her style of dance is fluid and graceful, but strong, as well as innovative. She often includes props, which is what got her working with pole dancing, and as well as being quite good exercise, she’s come to embrace.
